Emily is a priest in The Episcopal Church. She is a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen, studying lived religion and everyday faith. She is trained in theology, creative writing, and gender studies and uses these lenses in her ministry, writing, and research. She is passionate about pastoral presence and acompañamiento, or walking alongside people in their faith journeys.
